If you are in the market for a desktop speaker, the Creative Pebble v3 is a great option that you should consider. This speaker has many features that exceed expectations, including great sound quality and durability. In this Creative Pebble v3 review, we will discuss why this speaker is a good choice for anyone looking for an affordable desktop option.
Pros and Cons
Creative Pebble speaker is a great computer accessory for home users. But, like most things in life, there are pros and cons to using it. I'll take a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly of using Pebble to boost your computer's audio. Let's dive in.

Creative Pebble v3: What is it?
Creative Pebble v3 is a PC Speaker that Exceeds Expectations. It is a USB-C Speakers with Bluetooth 5.0. and a single USB-C connection for both audio and power. The amplified audio provides improved acoustics performance, while the Clear Dialog audio processing allows for clearer spoken dialogs in movies and shows. This makes it a great option for both home and office use.
Why am I Getting This?
As an AIO PC user, I can attest to the fact that the speakers that come standard with these machines are not great. This is a problem when you're trying to enjoy music or videos, as the sound quality is just not up to par. I'm looking for a speaker with good bass and minimal wires - one that doesn't require additional power, and has an LED that turns off when I turn off my PC. Other connection options like Bluetooth are nice to have, but not necessary.
The Initial Setup
The packaging for these speakers is pretty straightforward. You've got your left and right speaker, connected by a wire, and then a USB-C wire. There's also a converter from USB-C to USB.
It's a plug and play situation, so you don't need to install any software drivers. You also don't need the manuals that come with it.
Just connect the speakers to your computer, and you're good to go. The sound quality is great, and the volume is plenty loud enough for most situations. I'm really happy with this purchase, and I would definitely recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a good set of computer speakers.
Here are a few pointers to help you through the process.
No sound from pebble speaker
If you are using USB-C, just make sure that you select pebble v3 as the default speaker on Windows.
After you setup for the first time
Remember to restart your PC and test the sound.
Sound comes from PC instead
If you want to use zoom or video conferencing software, make sure that the audio test plays from pebble speaker. If it doesn't, try selecting pebble as your default speaker.
Design
The new Creative Pebble V3 has a sleek and modern design that will look great on any desk. Unlike most speakers, which are designed to blast sound in all directions, the Pebble V3 has an unique take on the traditional computer speaker. The drivers are elevated at a 45-degree angle, so you'll always get clear and accurate sound.
And because the audio is directed right to your ears, you'll enjoy an immersive personal listening experience. The Pebble V3 is also very easy to setup, with a single USB-C cable that provides both power and audio. This means less clutter on your desk, and more desktop space. So if you're looking for a clean and minimalistic design, the Creative Pebble V3 is a great option.

Sound
Have you ever been watching your favorite show, only to have the dialog get drowned out by the ambient sound effects? It's frustrating, isn't it? You lose focus on the flow and story of the show, and you find yourself having to turn up the volume just to hear what's being said.
Creative Pebble V3 has a solution to this problem. Clear Dialog audio processing picks up vocals to give you rich and clear dialog, without sacrificing any ambient effect. So you can hear every word without having to turn up the volume. As a result, you can enjoy your favorite shows with greater clarity and detail.
I find the gain switch on the pebble speaker useless.
In high gain mode, the amplified audio is great. Why would people want to switch it off? It's puzzling to me. If anything, I would think people would want to keep it in high gain mode all the time. But maybe that's just me.
Connection
Pebble V3 speakers are a great way to enjoy your music while staying connected to your devices. There are three ways to connect to the Pebble V3: Bluetooth, USB-C and audio cable. Bluetooth sound quality is very good as long as you are within range. USB-C saves you an extra power adapter, which is always a plus. The audio cable is also a great option if you have older devices that don't have Bluetooth. However, the audio cable is not included with the Pebble V3, so you'll need to purchase it separately. One more cable means more mess and dust, so keep that in mind.

The Bottom Line
The Creative Pebble is a great PC speaker replacement. It’s hard to find much fault with the speaker, especially at its price point and size.
However, the switch for bass gain is quite useless unless you don't like any bass at all. You can connect by USB, 3.5mm or Bluetooth, making it very versatile.
If you’re looking for a sweet spot in terms of price and performance, this speaker should be on your radar. Have you tried out any of the Creative Pebble series before? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
